How to get Orvieto
By Train
Orvieto is easily accessible by train. Timetables information are available from the website of Trenitalia. The Orvieto railstation is located under the rock cliff (Rupe). You can easily reach the city centre by Orvieto's Funicolar or by bus. Than you can get Piazza del Duomo, the square where the MODO Museum's visit starts, in about 15 minutes walking across the city’s historic centre.

By Car
Orvieto is located between Firenze and Roma. Here's the access routes to Orvieto:
- A1 Firenze-Roma Motorway, exit at Orvieto
- E45 Perugia-Todi State Road and S.S. 448 Todi-Orvieto State Road
- SS 2 Via Cassia Roma/Viterbo - Siena/Firenze State Road
- SS 71 Montefiascone-Orvieto State Road
We suggest you avail yourselves of the underground Campo della Fiera Car Park (located near the Porta Romana entrance to the town) that, via a lift / escalator system will take you to Piazza San Giovanni or Piazza Ranieri, in the city's centre.
